Iowa State University has recently constructed a brand new Student Innovation Center building. This presentation will be a case study on the planning, construction, and initial operations of the building. The AV system is built largely around a unified AV-over-IP distribution solution with over 200 endpoints, a first for our campus at that scale. We will dive into some of the challenges, including the fact that the building broke ground without designated owners for most of the various spaces.
